I have to keep this music up. I have realized that it is the most important thing to me, but I do not devote as much time to it as I wish I could. Everyday I think about it though, and I dream. Well Proxoxie is an LLC and I do get spam mail about taxes sent to my home address..
I released another demo from my debut album:
It must be so interesting to be a spammer, or a hacker. Whoever sends out all those spam comments to my WordPress site. I wonder what their daily life looks like. I always dream about all the things I could do with my life. I could be a mortician; I actually stayed up late and watched videos about being a mortician vs a funeral director. I don’t know why I have this calling sometimes to be $20,000 in debt to attend funeral director school, I just want to be there for families.
A mortician dressed the body and put makeup on the face and does the hair. They take the body in and out of the refrigerator. I feel like in another life I would have chosen to do this occupation. I also was really interested in doing forensic analysis research on bodies in body farms. I think the concept of a bunch of bodies rotting on an island somewhere in the middle of nowhere is interesting and also scary. I would love to be part of a team to examine them in the efforts to further technology and understanding in identifying bodies. I am someone who could handle that stuff, and the work is really meaningful.
In all honesty, the goal is to do music full time in 5 years. Let’s see how far we can get. I am excited to look back at these blogs in the future.
I have a lot of cool things on the way, I am planning another album to drop in the spring time of 2024… I am really excited about the features too. When choosing features, I try to choose artists based on these criteria’s; #1 talent, #2 being nice, #3 having a nice audience, #4 being underrepresented, #5 being a hard worker. In the past, I was never too picky about who to choose for features and it was not the move. This time around, I want a well-balanced selection for features.
I have a show coming up in Chicago as well, I’m super excited about it. We wanted to create a lineup that brought out Chicago’s performing talent in the SoundCloud scene.
