I’m back to the blogging, back to the Russian spam comments… Lets see who left a friendly reminder for “Simple weight loss tips at home how to quickly lose weight by 20 kg at home” with a helpful link to the porn website that will teach me how to quickly lose weight at home. I reported it as spam, once more. I think this one was funny though, it read “кодирование от алкоголизма” which translates roughly to “Coding for alcoholism” on Google translate.
Anyway, today I hopped out of the shower after taking 3 consecutive college courses from 9 AM to 9 PM and thought to myself, why is it that artists who to be baristas as their day jobs in their hometowns? What inspires the affiliation between creative people and Starbucks? Why is it that every time I decide to spend $6+ on a some coffee, some blued haired art school person will hand me back the latte? Nothing wrong with that, I’m just being inquisitive.
The next couple of questions I was pondering is how do people do art full time and make a living? How do you expect to come home after exhausting your creative energy and make art? Maybe it’s an endurance thing… Maybe it’s a trust fund thing… I just need to make a process and utilize my time more efficiently. I will not give up on this art. Yes, I have an office job… but that will not pull away from the authenticity of the art, and frankly, it is a really cool and fun office job… Sometimes I leave the office and work elsewhere, and I meet cool artistic people… I don’t want to elaborate too much further on this gig, I appreciate the separation of worlds between my art and my professional life.
I do want to be completely honest, I plan on building a real estate portfolio in the next couple of decades. I want to start now, as I am only 21 years old. I want to invest in a house in Indiana, as it’s close to Chicago where I am actively working. Every time I hear people talk about Indiana, they don’t have many good things to say about it, but honestly that’s a shame they can’t see the community or the opportunity there.
In light of my debut album dropping, which the album art is now public :))), I have made this blog to share the secret sauce to improving you artistry. These are some things I’ve learned over the years. Also pre-save this album!!!
