Working on my comment section, It sucks cause it is taken over by 3000 Russian bots advertizing gas station boner pills or some shit, Anyway… I am going to write about everysecondeverymoment now to prepare to send out 1 million emails to blogs and small brands. I am going to try to write a press release later but I need to use ChatGPT for this to work because I find writing in a neutral tone really boring and I always derail myself and add comments idk.

everysecondeverymoment is al album where instead of focusing on the concept, I focused on the sound which is a theme I’d want to embark on in the future. Just focusing on the music and letting the aesthetics speak for themselves…

I wanted the sonic characteristics to be punchy, trance-like, with a deeper bass. Less complex melodies and lyrics and more repetition for a true dance record. I took some inspiration from Cascada for this, but I didn’t want the entire album to ride off nostalgia – I really wanted to pivot and push a more modern sound.

My Mix Engineer Dropcat nailed my vocals, we found this preset which fits comfortably with my voice and the vibe. It really takes three years of working consistently with someone to discover the sweet spot for everything. Every record is really just fine-tuning, in preparation to discover a sound like what we have currently. In total, I didn’t spend hours and hours producing the tracks, which is why I have the ability to pump music out and spam the internet if I wanted too.

I feel like all of our skills really are beginning to show for themselves with my team. My team just knows what to do, and that’s why this particular project is so cool. I have been taking my time with it and well, because I learned to take the quality over quantity approach in music.

The theme of the album is every second / every moment of your life is being recorded and watched. We exist in constant surveillance. We go about our lives stepping lightly on the soil, never knowing what we unearth beneath us. The lyricism between songs is primarily about dancing and escaping, with the undertones of a contemplative fantasy of being watched. I am always running from something, even when I am dancing on stage. I live in constant fear, even when I am laughing. But not really, it’s just the vibe I guess.
